Join us for our second Deep Time Walk!

Dear friend,

Join us for our second Deep Time Walk, happening on 14 July 2024, Sunday, from 8-11.30am!

The Deep Time Walk is a guided 4.6km walk through nature, with each metre of the walk representing 1 million years of Earth history. Participants will have the chance to understand on the long history of our wonderful planet, question our relationship to Planet Earth, and reflect on how humankind has shaped it in our relatively short time on Earth.

In addition, our walk will offer insights into Singapore’s relationship with our land and indigenous communities.

Details of the walk:

• Date: 14 July 2024, Sunday

• Time: 8-11.30am

• Distance: 4.6km walk (with breaks)

• Meeting Point: Near Henderson Waves (exact route shared upon registration)

The walk will be a Pay-As-You-Wish fundraising initiative for the residents of Rempang Island, Indonesia, where over 7,500 islanders are being forcibly displaced from their homes for the development of a new economic zone. Read more here.
